A leading healthcare institution in Nottingham is looking for a doctor with experience at the specialist trainee level to join their team in clinical trials and stem cell donor care. The role involves assessing donor suitability, supporting the apheresis nursing team, and collaborating on research projects. Candidates should have a commitment to professional development, ideally with Haematology experience. This position offers opportunities for teaching and access to resources for continuous learning.
This post is an exciting opportunity for a doctor with UK experience at specialist trainee level and ideally with experience in Haematology to gain experience in clinical trials and stem cell donor care, supporting the Anthony Nolan Cell Collection Service hosted within the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH).
The postholder will be expected to play an active role in research and contribute to the management of patients in clinical trials. There will be the opportunity for independent audit and research and collaboration on these with the Anthony Nolan medical team.
