Position Summary

The Clinical Education Specialist is primarily responsible for driving and supporting a broad range of training programs and educational activities. This includes identifying training opportunities, training the trainers, and coordinating projects to support medical education of Atrial Fibrillation with Cardiac Surgeons and Electrophysiologists and post-operative pain management with Thoracic Surgeons for a new technology to be launched.

Responsibilities
  • Drive and support Professional Education (PE) programs through training course management and execution, working with course faculty, and communicating with the field and management on course status and results.
  • Oversee that all administrative tasks in digital platform and paperwork are completed and in compliance with company policies and external reporting requirements.
  • Support cadaver lab preparation, planning and execution, shipping and maintenance of lab kits, and other ad hoc projects.
  • Support and attend scientific/society meetings and provide clinical expert support for live cases during Congresses where needed.
  • Contribute to the preparation of new educational material such as procedural videos, video library, case reports, and webinars.
  • Contribute to the introduction of new technologies for remote and in-person training.
  • Monitor training and education programs to implement continuous improvements.
  • Support new hire and advanced sales representative training, providing meeting planning support and course materials as necessary, overseeing logistics.
  • Conduct training or deliver presentations as required and demonstrate procedural training or product demonstrations during hands-on cadaver lab/wet lab sessions.
About Yourself
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
  • 5+ years Cardiovascular nursing or PA experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with prioritization ability.
  • Professional interaction with physicians.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Creative, self-motivated, proactive, intuitive, organized, flexible, and deadline oriented.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%).
  • Experience interacting with physician faculty and senior sales management.
  • Experience in design and implementation of HCP medical device training programs.
  • Experience in the field of Atrial Fibrillation Therapies and Thoracic Surgery.
