Overview

Are you a passionate and dynamic leader ready to shape the future of nursing education? We are looking for an inspiring Clinical Education Lead to drive high-quality, inclusive post-registration education for nurses across our Trust. This is a pivotal role where you will lead a dedicated team, implement education initiatives and ensure our nursing workforce is equipped to deliver outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership in the development and delivery of high-quality, inclusive clinical education for the nursing workforce, working in close collaboration with the nursing, workforce, and Integrated Education leadership teams. Lead the Clinical Education Nursing (Post-registration) team across all sites, ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources to drive improvements in clinical practice and patient care.
• Ensure that education and development initiatives are aligned with Trust priorities and national standards. Oversee the continuous assessment of educational needs and the evaluation of programmes to ensure they deliver measurable improvements in care quality and workforce capability.
• Deputise for the Head or Deputy Head of Clinical Education (Nursing and Midwifery) to represent the Trust in internal and external educational forums. Maintain robust governance arrangements and champion a culture of professional excellence and continuous learning.
