Overview

This role is a mix of 24 hours on nursing shifts and 16 hours supernumerary shifts per week, with full flexibility required. Join us at Telford Hall as part of the management team, to develop specialist nursing and leadership skills in a truly beautiful, luxurious and state-of-the-art nursing home. Based in the heart of bustling Lawley, our 66-bedded Nursing home for older adults offers unrivalled modern facilities, including salon, tranquil lounge and garden rooms, cinema and tea room. Telford Hall provides an exceptional standard of specialist nursing, palliative and dementia care to residents, with a focus on nurturing each individual to achieve personal goals and to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Responsibilities

• As a Clinical Deputy Manager, take the lead in ensuring outstanding levels of clinical care are provided to residents at all times.
• Support the Clinical Lead Nurse and deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence.
• Offer supervision, support and training to Nurse, Senior Carer and Care Assistant colleagues.
• Ensure at all times a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as are an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work and a keen interest in professional development of themselves and others.
• Must be a Registered Nurse holding a valid NMC pin.
