Clinical Deputy Manager – Thatcham Court Care Home, Thatcham, RG18 4QL

Salary: Up to £53,393 per annum – depending on experience.

Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week (Monday‑Friday). Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.

Welcome bonus: £2,000*.

  • Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Co‑create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up‑to‑date medication records.
  • Maintain correct staffing levels through efficient rota management, ensuring adequate staffing at all times.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
  • Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community within the home.
  • Develop strong relationships with local partners, liaising with them to raise the care home’s profile locally and beyond.
