Are you looking for a new challenge and opportunities in a service at a time of exciting change and development? Our adult ADHD service is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical / Counselling Psychologists to develop and implement our new psychological pathways.
This is an opportunity to contribute to new psychological pathways for adults with ADHD as part of an overall redesign of the service. The priority for the new service is to offer a biopsychosocial approach for people diagnosed with ADHD, and prioritise psychological and social interventions as part of the Waiting Well offer for people waiting for assessments. The post holder will be responsible for providing assessment and psychological interventions for people referred to the service, contributing to the development of the new psychological pathways as a part of the psychology team.
We are keen to invest in the development of new practitioners joining our service to enhance their knowledge, skills, clinical practice, leadership and confidence in working in this area. We are therefore looking for applicants who have experience in working with people with ADHD or have a foundation of transferable skills and an interest to develop in this area.

We are looking for a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist who is enthusiastic about working with people with ADHD and keen to build up the psychological offer for this group.
In this role, you will complete diagnostic assessments for adults, and contribute to multi-disciplinary diagnostic decision making meetings. You will work closely with colleagues within the MDT as part of the diagnostic assessment pathway and in the post-diagnostic pathway.
You will be responsible for the implementation of post-diagnostic psychological pathways, which will include group and individual psychological therapy offers. There are exciting opportunities here to develop and evaluate pathways that meet the psychological needs of adults with ADHD, from a variety of backgrounds.
You will be responsible for the supervision of junior and pre-qualified psychologists within the team. You will be able to inspire and support your colleagues within a busy service and work closely with the MDT to ensure the provision of high quality assessments and interventions for people accessing the service.
