Job description

As a Clinical Community Lead at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of our clinical community within the home.

About Ashlynn Grange Care Home

Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on its surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of vegetables.

The level of care at Ashlynn Grange is outstanding, with staff engaging residents in a full programme of activities and live performances on our outdoor stage. Our newly refurbished café offers residents and visitors a selection of fresh tea, coffee, and cakes daily.

About The Role

The Clinical Community Lead will conduct clinical audits, manage medication safely, and supervise team members. You will serve as a role model for your team and be a trusted figure for residents and their families, ensuring a safe, reassuring, and happy environment.

Salary

£23.58 per hour.

Shift Pattern

33.75 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts on a rota from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location:

Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the unit.
  • Complete monthly audits on medication management, pressure ulcer prevention, diet and hydration, and care planning.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate residents’ care through monthly audits of care plans, using approaches like Resident of the Day.
  • Ensure supervision of all team members aligns with company policy.

Training, Skills & Experience Required

  • Qualified RN/RGN/RMN.
  • At least two years’ experience in shift leadership and management.
  • Proven ability to lead, empower, support, and motivate a clinical team.
