A leading leisure organization in England is seeking a Climbing Instructor to engage and teach climbing skills to users of all levels. This role requires strong communication skills and experience working with children. Responsibilities include managing the climbing wall's daily operations and offering instructional support to newcomers and returning customers. At our Climbing Wall your role will be to share your passion for climbing with leisure users while teaching them the skills and guiding them through all stages of their climbing journey, ensuring that the environment is safe and welcoming at all times. You will deliver fun and engaging sessions to a wide range of people from beginners to experienced climbers, using a variety of teaching styles to be flexible to people’s needs.
Be involved in the day-to-day running of the climbing wall, steer newcomers to suitable sessions, build rapport with returning customers and be motivated to develop as an instructor.

You will have experience working in a similar environment and engaging with children. It is desirable that you have experience working in a climbing environment; we are looking to train and engage with our colleagues. Having a climbing wall instructor qualification is desirable but not essential; strong communication skills are imperative.
Hourly Rate Qualified Instructor: £12.95; Unqualified Instructor: £12.60
