Senior Asset Manager / Client Side Property Manager

Location: Central London/ Hybrid Remote
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 DOE

Role Overview

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Asset Manager to oversee the performance and strategic management of a large, complex residential property portfolio. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence, safeguarding asset value, and delivering long-term investment performance. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in property asset management, compliance oversight, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of appointed managing agents across an extensive residential portfolio.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management frameworks, particularly for high-rise and complex assets.
  • Oversee statutory property notices, including Fire Enforcement and Improvement Notices.
  • Lead the procurement and appointment of managing agents and associated professional services.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings with MPs, regulatory bodies, Resident Associations, and managing agents.
  • Conduct reviews of properties managed by Resident Management Companies and Right to Manage Companies.
  • Prepare and present regular performance and compliance reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
Candidate Profile
  • Professional membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or MTPI.
  • Strong background in residential or mixed-use property management.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously and manage complex operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and numeracy skills.
  • Confident in liaising with senior stakeholders and external agencies.
