This is a rare opportunity to take on a loyal commercial insurance portfolio due to a retirement. This role is primarily retention focused and so requires very little new business development. The portfolio is made up of and interesting mix of commercial clients, some larger prestigious cases, but mainly mid-market (not SME).

Ideally, the successful applicant will be able to work with the incumbent for a short period of time to ensure a smooth portfolio handover, before taking over entirely. Candidates will need to have a good all round commercial insurance knowledge, having worked in a client facing role previously and ideally within a broking environment. ACII or progress towards would be beneficial and ongoing studies will be fully funded.

You will be supported by a team of excellent, highly effective and knowledgeable account handlers and broker’s based at HQ in Leeds. Our client is keen to provide a flexible working environment with a big emphasis on work / life balance; you will be able to work partly from home.
