Client Services Manager – North

Location: Manchester (Hybrid after initial training)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + Benefits and Commission
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

We’re looking for a Client Services Manager to join Dovetail & Slate, part of Talentia Group, supporting our continued growth across the North of England.

If you’re passionate about building strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and driving commercial growth, this role offers the perfect blend of autonomy, collaboration, and purpose.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to our clients in the Further Education and skills sector, ensuring they receive the highest level of service, support, and value. Working closely with our recruitment teams, you’ll make sure clients get the right people — first time, every time.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing and developing relationships with key clients across the North

Acting as the main point of contact for all client queries and escalations

Visiting clients regularly to strengthen partnerships and gain insight into their workforce needs

Working with consultants to ensure high fill rates and excellent candidate matches

Identifying new opportunities for account growth and expansion

Analysing client performance data to shape account strategy and drive improvements

Supporting marketing initiatives, events, and engagement campaigns

Representing Dovetail & Slate at industry conferences and networking events

What We’re Looking For

Experience in client services, account management, customer success, or recruitment

Background in the education or public sector (desirable but not essential)

Proven track record in building and retaining long-term client relationships

Commercially aware, target-driven, and confident in influencing senior stakeholders

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Proactive, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North

What We Offer

£35,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) and commission

Hybrid working after initial training (Manchester office-based to start)
