Overview

Eden Scott’s client, who is the UK’s largest pension scheme trustee company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Pensions Manager to join our outsourced pensions management and scheme secretarial team, supporting our client lead in delivering high-quality pensions services. Self-motivated and confident in learning new information, you will be dedicated to improving member outcomes and adept at communicating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.


Responsibilities


  • Support in-house pensions teams and assist with the scheme’s secretarial duties (permanent/interim).

  • Assist with project management across a portfolio of pension schemes and adviser-led projects.

  • Help maintain governance in line with client contracts and internal quality standards.

  • Contribute to adviser review and other client projects.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance services and support business proposition development.

  • Proactively develop technical proficiency and industry knowledge.

  • Stay current with regulatory and governance changes within pensions legislation.


Requirements

The ideal candidate must be a strong team player attitude and eagerness to learn, commitment to delivering client service excellence, basic understanding of pensions management and scheme secretarial, willingness to build technical knowledge of pension legislation, compliance, and scheme governance. Excellent computer, communication, and organisation skills. Also being able to work independently as well as part of a team.


Desirable Qualifications


  • Trustee Toolkit certification or working toward completion.

  • Part completion or membership of APMI or FPMI.
