Client Development Manager – Overview

We are recruiting a Client Development Manager responsible for strategic and targeted client development and relationship management for a portfolio of high‑profile Financial Services clients across a global remit. Working across Pinsent Masons’ entire network for FS clients and alongside members of the financial services business development team, this role will broaden opportunities and sustain long‑term profitable relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of client initiatives to retain revenue and drive new profitable growth.
  • Analyse client data to create management reporting that informs sector leadership on cross‑sector patterns and trends.
  • Advocate for client relationship best practice, challenge established norms and work closely with multiple functions to ensure consistency.
  • Use strong interpersonal and communication skills to nurture internal and external relationships.
Qualifications
  • Extensive previous legal or professional service account management experience with a track record of client retention and growth.
  • Proven ability to analyse client data for insight and create management reporting that informs sector leadership on cross sector patterns and trends.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the financial services sector would be highly advantageous but not essential.
