Client Bookkeeper – Wells – £26,000 – £30,000

There’s nothing we like more than working on roles which have come about through growth. Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a friendly and growing accountancy practice based in Wells, who seek an experienced Client Bookkeeper to join their team. Offered on a permanent and full-time basis, this role will be predominantly office based with the occasional work from home to be discussed.

The role involves working with a range of small businesses across a multitude of industries, providing support in all aspects of bookkeeping, VAT return preparation and management accounting. With a varied client base, you will quickly become a trusted advisor to your SME clients.

Responsibilities

• Work with a range of small businesses across multiple industries.
• Provide support in all aspects of bookkeeping, VAT return preparation and management accounting.
• Become a trusted advisor to SME clients.
• Assist with systems implementations, training and advising clients on systems best practice (primarily using Xero and FreeAgent).

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience within an accountancy practice.
• Adept at a variety of systems; usually working with Xero and FreeAgent.
• Ability to assist with systems implementations, training and advising clients on best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work well in a small, close-knit team and independently.
