Job description

Our Global Real Estate team in Malta are looking for a Client Advisor to join them.

The role is responsible for delivering account management services for an assigned client portfolio, contributing to the comprehensive service provision to clients, and ensuring adherence to the operational model of Lockton European Brokers Limited (LEBL), in close liaison with various teams in the UK.

Key tasks will include:

  • Conducting client onboarding in line with LEBL processes
  • Supporting the co-ordination of insurance programmes with colleagues in the UK (in line with our operating model)
  • Day to day servicing of the client portfolio
  • Managing all renewals effectively to ensure completion by due date
  • Support in obtaining quotations for both new and renewal business
  • Support in the preparation of market and client documentation
Candidate Profile

You should have:

  • Solid experience of handling property and casualty lines or real estate lines of business, either in a broking or underwriting context
  • Working towards or already in possession of the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Diploma in Insurance (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to develop knowledge through formal and informal learning, both internally and externally
  • Excellent use of English language (both written and spoken)
  • Working knowledge of a second European language (apart from Maltese) is considered an advantage
  • Ability and willingness to undertake occasional business travel to the UK
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other Associates
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work independently and under pressure, managing clients’ deadlines and responding within agreed SLAs
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation
  • Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and Associates
