A primary education institution in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a part-time Clerk to the Governors. The role involves providing administrative support and guidance to ensure compliance with governance procedures. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational skills and knowledge of school systems. This position offers a fixed-term contract and a hybrid working model. The salary is based on experience and average hours are approximately six per week.
CLERK TO THE GOVERNORS
Fixed contract until 17.7.26, part time, term time only
Combination of working from home and school will be required
Variable hours: estimated hours approx. 228 hours per year (approx. six hours a week)
Salary, depending on experience: £4,881.77 - £5,540.3 per annum (£18.64 - £20.63 per hour)

The governors are looking to appoint a permanent clerk to the governing body who will provide advice and guidance to the governing body of St Paul’s Church of England Primary School Kingston Hill on governance, constitutional and procedural matters. This is a part time role, covering five full governing board meetings and approximately 10 committee meetings per school year. All meetings are held in term time. The clerk will be paid through payroll for hours worked on a monthly basis.
