A healthcare provider is seeking a Clerical Officer to join their busy Medical Imaging team at Ipswich Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality reception and clerical support, working in a team to ensure efficient patient services. Ideal candidates will have experience in an office and preferably within an NHS setting. An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our busy Medical Imaging Clerical Team based at Ipswich Hospital. We currently have a full time (37.5hr) post, working pattern will be over a 12 week rota, covering 7 days per week, 8am to 8pm. Hours to be discussed at interview. This post is fixed term until 31st March 2026.
In this role you will assist in providing an efficient, high quality, reception/clerical support service to Medical Imaging.
As you will be dealing with patients and the general public, you must have a polite telephone manner and be approachable. You will also need to have the ability to work under pressure to strict dealings with excellent organisational skills. You will work on your own initiative with attention to detail and have confident and accurate IT skills.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar environment within an NHS setting, and knowledge of the hospital booking systems, Lorenzo and CRIS would be advantageous.
