A local council office is seeking a temporary Receptionist/Clerical Support staff member to handle reception duties and clerical tasks at Alves Primary School. The role requires significant clerical experience and proficiency in various computer packages. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work, providing support during term time and school holidays.
To provide an efficient and effective reception and clerical support service within the school.
This post is considered to be a Regulated Role' under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.
Therefore the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council.
Temporary appointment up to 02/07/2026
Working Week: Monday & Tuesday, 9am to 3pm
Closing Date: 26th September 2025
Starting Salary: £25,994.15 (pro rata)
£13.79 per hour
10 hours per week (47 week contract, ie term time working plus balance of days to be worked during school holiday periods)
