Job summary

A government client in Oxfordshire is seeking an Administrative Officer to work 30 hours a week. Responsibilities include sorting mail, handling phone calls, and overseeing administrative procedures. Ideal candidates should have two GCSEs at Grade C or above and some experience in business administration. Job Title: Admin Officer - 30 hours a week

Our government client based in Oxfordshire currently seeking an Administrative Officer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Sorting and distributing mail
  • Photocopying, filing, posting or proofreading data
  • Answering telephone calls and relaying messages
  • Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
  • Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
  • Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
  • Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
  • Preparing routine correspondence
Working pattern

30 hours per week

Requirements
  • Two GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent
  • NVQ Business Administration level 1 (or suitable administrative experience)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
