A leading UK university is seeking an enthusiastic Cleaner to join their Soft FM Services team. This role involves delivering high-quality cleaning services to academic and administrative areas, primarily over the weekends. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and personable, with a passion for maintaining cleanliness. The position offers 15 hours per week on a weekend shift from 5.30am to 1.45pm. Competitive pay starting at £24,966 pro rata (£12.60 per hour).

Soft FM Services are responsible for cleaning and portering services to the university’s academic, administrative, and residential estate. Soft FM facilitates all university key events, such as graduation and open days and ensures areas are prepared for other events such as receptions and summer conferences.

Soft FM Services is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Cleaner to join our busy team.

Skills and Qualities

We are looking for a self‑motivated and personable individual who has a real passion for delivering cleaning services to the highest standards.

You will be part of a dedicated team of cleaners delivering cleaning services to the academic and administrative estate, working one of the shift patterns mentioned in the job description.

Hours

Weekend Shift – 15 hours per week to be worked. Current working hours for this post are Saturday and Sunday 5.30am to 1.45pm.
