An educational institution in Birmingham is looking for a dedicated School Cleaner. The role involves providing high standard cleaning services, using electronic scrubbing and vacuuming machines while ensuring the safety and cleanliness of designated areas. Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 264 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Queensbury School provides for 245 students who have MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). Mayfield School educates children and young people, who have a range of learning difficulties, between the ages of 3 and 19 and have approximately 300 students on roll.

We are seeking to appoint a School Cleaner to provide a high standard cleaning service for the school. Duties will include mopping and cleaning, and you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality cleanliness of your designated area. You will be responsible for reporting any hazards, defects and any relevant factors of building and environment safety immediately to the cleaning supervisor. You will safely use electronically powered scrubbing, polishing, and vacuuming machines to scrub, polish, spray and clean floors. The safe use of chemical agents will be adhered to as directed by the cleaning supervisor in the discharge of cleaning operations or maintenance procedures.
