Job summary

A local council in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Cleaner for the St Colms Day Centre. This is a permanent part-time position requiring 2.5 hours of work weekly, mainly after 5.00 pm. Responsibilities include carrying out various cleaning duties using appropriate equipment to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. Building Cleaning - St Colms Day Centre

Cleaner

2.5 hours per week, 0.5 hours per day worked Monday – Friday after 5.00pm

£28,192 - £28,462 pro rata / £14.61 - £14.75 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)

Applications are invited from motivated individuals to undertake cleaning duties at the above establishment. You will be required to carry out a range of cleaning activities following written procedures and using your own initiative where necessary.

Duties include the use of cleaning products and powered cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners to ensure the premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

You should have a minimum of experience of cleaning duties in a home or commercial environment.

Knowledge and use of cleaning equipment both manual and electrical is required.

This is a lone working position with keyholder responsibilities.
