Overview

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 driver looking for a rewarding role with great pay and the opportunity to work in your local community? Bristol Waste is seeking dedicated drivers to join their team, with a temp-to-perm contract and the chance to make a real difference in your city!

  • £16.25 – £32.50 per hour (first 12 weeks)
  • £17.27 – £34.54 per hour (after 12 weeks)
• Great Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:18

Your Role Includes

• Driving a Class 2 Recycling/Refuse Vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Assisting with waste collection, including pushing and pulling bins (up to 25kg).
• Loading and unloading recycling boxes.
• Performing daily vehicle checks and managing mobile IT equipment to complete paperwork.
• Occasionally supporting other departments such as Recycling and Garden Waste.

• Solid understanding of tacho laws and regulations.
• A good fitness level – you’ll be lifting up to 25kg, so we’ll need you to be physically prepared.
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Great communication skills and a commitment to safety.
