Job summary

A logistics company in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified HGV 2 driver for a potential temp to perm role. • Handle loose stock, requiring handballing and some heavier drops will be palletized.

Salary: £16.69 per hour (With advanced holiday pay)

Days: Monday to Friday
Time: 06:00 AM Start time (Flexible finish times)

Job Description

Multi-drop deliveries of chemicals (Bleach/Cleaning agents), glassware to restaurants, businesses, schools and kitchens.

Inclusive of some well known cafes too.

Normally consists of around 15-25 drops depending on location.

Loose stock so handball is required, some heavier drops will be palletized.

Sometimes required to drop down to 7.5t or non HGV 3.5t on Fridays but will be paid at the class 2 rate.

Job Requirements

• You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 2 (C) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards.
• Will have a minimum of 12 months Class 2 experience.
• Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. NB: no other endorsements / convictions are acceptable.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, upbeat, self-motivated and resilient - are welcomed in this role.
• Able to work on tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.
• You must have good geographical knowledge.
