Ocado Logistics – Class 1 HGV Driver (Night) – Immediate Start

Responsibilities

• Deliver products on time and in an efficient manner.
• Operate a class 1 HGV to transport goods between distribution centres.
• Follow route plans generated by automated technology and pre‑load the van.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Adhere to all driving and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Successful completion of an Online Licence Check, Right to Work Checks and a Disclosure Barring System check (DBS).
• Positive attitude, reliable and capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.
• No prior experience required – training will be provided.

Working Hours & Pay

Contract Type: Permanent – 40‑hour week scheduled as either four 10‑hour days or five 8‑hour days within a seven‑day period.
Shifts: AM & PM, from 05:30 in the morning to 00:00 midnight. Rotas are released up to 13 weeks in advance. Hourly pay rates include a basic rate, evening premium (from 18:00), Sunday day premium, Sunday evening premium and overtime rates for both day and evening shifts.
