Job Description

QS Recruitment are seeking professional and reliable Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our trusted clients in Wakefield.

This role is a day driving position, delivering nationwide to different commercial and domestic properties. You will be completing approximately 2 drops throughout the day. Deliveries consist of bathroom suites and plumbing supplies. Vehicle checks will be expected on wagons before the start of each shift and cautious driving will always be required, keeping yourself and the public safe. Each shift will be approximately 10-11 hours long.

Duration: This is a full-time, ongoing position with the chance to gain a permanent contract if well-suited.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: This Class 1 Driving position is £16.50, + 28 days holiday PAYE.

Working Hours: Your shift will start between 05:00 and 08:00, depending on the route for that week, Monday to Friday

Experience & Qualifications

To be successful, you must:
-Hold a valid Class 1 Drivers Licence.
-Have a Digi Tachograph Card.

-Know how to drive safely, ensuring no damage to the vehicles or to the goods being transported.
