Job description

Class 1 Driver - Pay Rates

Monday - Friday - £19.61 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay (PAYE only)

Class 1 Driver - Shifts and Hours

Monday to Friday - no weekends!

Start times: 22:00pm-02:00am - 8-10 hours per day

Location

Coventry (CV8). This role is commutable from Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, Southeast Birmingham, Daventry, Crick and the other surrounding areas.

Class 1 Driver - The Role

• Load / unload freight and secure loads
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections (varied parcel weights)
• Ensure accurate completion of documentation
• Perform vehicle checks and report defects
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines

Class 1 Driver - Perfect Candidate

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license + Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 license + 6 months Class 1 driving experience
• Maximum 6 SP penalty points accepted (no other endorsements)
• Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes
• Flexible and remain calm under pressure
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as attention to detail
• 2 years of work / education history
