Claims Handler - Property / Commercial

I am working with a Global Loss Adjuster who are looking for a Claims Handler to join their Property / Commercial Claims Teams.

Reporting to a senior team lead, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of property claims from initial investigation through to settlement, ensuring organisational standards are met across all technical and operational policies and procedures, including data protection and information security.

The role:
  • Investigating, negotiating, and agreeing the settlement of claims in a professional manner
  • Liaising with policyholders and intermediaries to achieve timely and professional claim resolutions
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Producing reports in line with professional standards and internal guidelines within agreed timescales
  • Ensuring time recording and billing comply with internal standards, processes, and systems
  • Ensuring invoices are accurate and issued in a timely manner
  • Working closely with external adjusting partners where appropriate
  • Attending client review meetings as required
  • Validating, reviewing, and approving contractor quotations
