Job description
Overview

As a Marine Claims Administrator you will be:

  • Assisting with various types of marine claims, including reinsurance claims, for marine hull and cargo clients;
  • Producing claims documentation and administration
  • Communicating with clients, brokers and insurers to progress claims and obtain settlement monies;
  • Dispatching new claims notifications, claim updates and communicating with insurers and brokers to ensure timely payment
  • Generate monthly outstanding claims list and following up with the respective underwriters for claims payment
  • Liaise with the Accounting team regarding claims settlements
  • Updating/management of claims records and generating claims statistics
  • Generally assisting the Claims Manager on all claims being handled by the company and other ad-hoc tasks as required
Profile
  • 1 year experience in the Insurance or Finance industry. Young graduates will be considered
  • Proficient command of written and verbal English is a must
  • Verbal command of Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) preferred
  • Organised, proactive, detail-focused and a team player
  • Computer literate, proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
