Overview

We’re hiring! A civil litigation solicitor for an award winning, top tier Legal 500 firm headquartered in Birmingham. This well-renowned firm is spearheaded by a Legal 500 Hall of Famer and further complimented by an accomplished 30 strong team of immigration and human rights specialists. The firm’s impressive and much envied history in immigration spans back 35 years and, due to an ever-increasing influx of high profile civil litigation cases, they’ve now established a new litigation department. They are now looking for a civil litigation solicitor to strengthen their new department and aid the team in reaching the same status their immigration and human rights team enjoys.

Responsibilities

• You will join the firm’s new litigation department based from the firm’s West End head office.
• Undertake a mixed and varied caseload of civil litigation matters which is predominantly high-quality files including multiple seven figure cases against financial institutions.
• Be a key player in the continued growth of this new department and generate quality referrals and recommendations from your outstanding body of work.
• Maintain close relationships with your clients and offer first-rate advocacy and client care throughout.

Requirements

• You will be a civil litigation solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in litigation.
• Emerging/proficient business development skills.
• Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of litigation law, the ability to adapt to ever-change conditions, and the capacity to work in a pressurised environment.
• You absolutely must have a stable work history. This is essential to your application being progressed.

Salary & Benefits
