About the role

Office‑based in Swansea with opportunities for site visits. Hands‑on experience supporting Binnies' Flood, Coast and Environment Team, exposure to UK projects in flood risk management, coastal protection and environmental enhancement, and the chance to contribute to projects across other offices and locations in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside experienced civil engineers on flood, coast and environmental projects.
  • Support the Flood, Coast and Environment Team in the delivery of projects across the UK.
  • Participate in site visits and fieldwork as required.
Qualifications
  • Strong desire to study a civil engineering degree (part‑time).
  • Interest in problem‑solving and infrastructure challenges.
  • Strong mathematical skills and confidence using spreadsheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Interest in flood risk, coastal management, sustainability and environmental matters.
