Overview

We are seeking two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to patrol designated areas of North Hertfordshire to enforce parking restrictions and issue Penalty Charge Notices in line with our statutory duties. Monitoring and reporting on all aspects of the street scene across the district and maintaining full and accurate records. To assist members of the public with parking queries.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on all aspects of the street scene across the district.
  • Maintain full and accurate records.
  • Assist members of the public with parking queries.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with members of the public.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions with occasional evening and weekend working.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident at operating basic IT equipment.
  • Hold a full driving licence (automatic acceptable) and willingness to drive a council vehicle.
  • Knowledge of parking restrictions would be an advantage, but not essential as full training and a uniform will be provided.
