Job description

Prospero Health and Social Care is currently recruiting experienced staff for floating supports for Children in the Leeds and surrounding areas.

Everyday is different and you will face new challenges, we need staff members with a can‑do attitude, that are willing to go above and beyond for the children in their care to better their lives, promoting independence, being a role model and achieving a successful home environment for them to live, in line with local authority care plan.

Please see the requirements below:

  • 12 months paid experience within the health and social care sector
  • Previous experience in a support worker, youth work is essential
  • Flexible around travel arrangements
  • Able to work flexibly
  • Resilient and empathetic, with a strong commitment to helping vulnerable young people
  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (desired but not essential)
  • Social Care registered
Experience:
  • Children and Young People Support: 1 year (required)
  • Experience taking children into community
Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
