About Mulroy House

At Mulroy House, we know that caring for children and young people starts with building positive relationships. By setting clear boundaries, we create a safe space where trust grows, partnerships develop, and every young person feels valued. Located in Middlesbrough, Mulroy House has five bedrooms for young people aged 8 to 18. We specialise in supporting those with social, emotional, and mental health needs, offering care that celebrates individuality. Our dedicated team ensures each young person feels respected, supported, and safe – empowering them to thrive and look forward to a brighter future.

This Role Is for You If You:
  • Lead and guide young adults at critical life stages—use your influence to help shape futures.
  • Be part of a supportive, tight-knit team in a role set within a homely environment.
  • Provide structure and positive role modelling to support young people managing mental health challenges.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and a fulfilling, long-term career.
  • Fully funded professional training (Level 3/4 Health & Social Care, Therapeutic Childcare degree).
  • Clear career progression routes into senior roles.
  • Salary sacrifice scheme, enhanced leave, and a supportive team culture.
  • Ongoing career development, wellness support, and on-the-job training.

We welcome and encourage applications from men, who are currently underrepresented in social care roles—only 18% of the adult social care workforce is male, and we believe diverse teams make stronger teams.
