A leading care provider in the UK is hiring a Complex Care Assistant for waking night shifts to support a child with complex needs. Responsibilities include tracheostomy care, PEG support, and ensuring the child’s safety and comfort. Working in the family home of a child with complex care needs you will make a real difference in providing care and support to the family by ensuring the safety and comfort of their child throughout the night.
This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional.
The main duties of the role will be tracheostomy care, PEG support, suction, saturation monitoring, personal care, manual handling and ventilator management.
We are looking for a care professional who brings empathy and enthusiasm to every shift. You will be someone who values building strong relationships. We are seeking a care professional that is punctual, reliable and will provide consistency for our client.
What you'll do
Whilst we can provide full nurse led training we are looking for a Care Worker that has some care experience, particularly administering medication and moving and handling experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full nurse-led training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various areas.
