A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a paediatric registered nurse to join the children’s epilepsy team. This full-time role involves delivering high-quality health care and support to children and families in various settings. The successful candidate will coordinate services for newly diagnosed epilepsy cases and work closely with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have experience or interest in long-term conditions.
We have an exciting opportunity for a paediatric registered nurse with experience or interest in long term conditions to join the children’s epilepsy team. The post holder will be part of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and will deliver high-quality health care, education and support to children and families within the home, school and community settings. The role supports patient safety and service improvement and involves working with the Clinical Manager to oversee daily operations of the Children’s Epilepsy Service.
The post holder will coordinate appropriate services to facilitate early discharge and manage children and young people newly diagnosed with epilepsy at home. They will liaise with the multidisciplinary team and other agencies to ensure seamless epilepsy care, working holistically with families from infancy through adolescence.
