We have an amazing opportunity for a enthusiastic Children & Young People Trainee Assessor (CYP).

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to start or continue their career as a Children & Young People Trainee Assessor.

The role involves providing structured, end-to-end support to apprenticeship learners, ensuring they receive high-quality guidance, practical training, and the knowledge needed to progress confidently in their careers.

You recive trainig to become a qualified Assessor that will help learners develop essential skills through a blend of workplace assessment, one-to-one support, and ongoing monitoring. This is a rewarding position for someone who enjoys developing others, working collaboratively, and making a positive impact within the Health & Social Care sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment tailored to individual learner needs.
  • Train to become an Assessor
  • Travel across a regional area to visit learners within their workplaces.
  • Create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) with personalised learning pathways.
  • Assess workplace evidence and reference it accurately against qualification requirements. терапии
  • Keep accurate, audit-compliant records of attendance, progress, and guided contact hours.
  • Support the planning, monitoring, and achievement of performance targets.
  • Arrange additional training opportunities, including day release and in-house sessions.
  • Maintain clear, detailed documentation of learner achievements for awarding body standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • Occupational experience and technical knowledge in Health & Social Care.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Willing to work towards a CAVA Qualification
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check and EWC registration.
  • Strong organisational, communication and learner-focused skills.
  • Training or assessing experience.
  • Teaching or assessing qualifications (A1 Award, CAVA, TAQA or equivalent).
  • Willing to work towards an assessor qualification
  • Welsh speaking ability.
