Childcare Assistant Apprenticeship – Level 2 – Maybury Montessori

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Maybury Montessori as a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice.

Maybury Montessori is designed to feel as much like home as possible for our children from the age of 6 months to 4 years. Our teachers are a dedicated team who are passionate about what they do, their main aim being to give each child confidence and a love of learning.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
  • Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children.
  • Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children’s development and well-being.
  • Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans.
  • Support children’s personal care needs.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming setting
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
  • Attending staff meetings
  • Follow Montessori ethos
Requirements :
  • You must be able to obtain a clear DBS.
  • Preferably have GCSE grades A.
  • Preferably have GCSE grades C or 4–9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
Hours :
  • For this position the candidate would be working 40 hours per week, with shifts between the setting’s opening hours of 08.00am and 18.00pm.
