REF: RPW1) Child Therapy Assistant/Female Support Worker - Pontardawe (Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Pontardawe

Hours per week: 15 hours per week

Working pattern:

  • Term times
  • Sessions after school and Saturday morning – to be confirmed with family
  • Accompany to expert appointments/therapy appointments
  • School holidays – 2 days

Pay per hour:

  • £15.50 weekdays
  • £16.50 weekends

The role involves supporting a 12‑year‑old child with complex needs, providing assistance with personal care, therapy programme, leisure activities, and accompanying to appointments and day trips. The position is suitable for a therapy student or psychology graduate who wishes to work within a multidisciplinary team.
