Job Overview

TLC Care are looking for an experienced Chef to support the Head Chef in the first class food service at their care home.

Within our Homes our focus is quality of life. The design of the home and its entire operation are dedicated to that cause.

Our approach to specialised nursing and care is, we believe, second to none, with highly-trained carers and nurses on hand 24 hours a day to provide assistance to meet the needs and wishes of each individual resident.

The main purpose of the Chef's role is to organise and control the efficient production of seasonal and sustainable foods to a high quality, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with EHO regulations.

Food preparation will be expected to be of a very high standard and will include:

  • Preparing, cooking and serving of hot and cold meals, as and when required.
  • Providing for special dietary requirements and take into account the preferences of individual residents.
