A prestigious university in the UK is seeking a Chef De Partie to join its catering department. The role involves assisting senior chefs in preparing various food items for restaurant and hospitality services at the newly renovated Edinburgh Futures Institute. Candidates should have at least 3 years of chef experience, possess strong communication skills, and be excellent team players. An opportunity has arisen to join The University of Edinburgh catering department as a Chef De Partie.
The role will be based at our newest catering unit - Edinburgh Futures Institute at Edinburgh’s Old Royal Infirmary building. This much-loved historic building is being carefully renovated, extended and upgraded to form a major interdisciplinary institute, the largest of its kind in the UK.
The Edinburgh Futures Institute Houses Canopy Kitchen & Courtyard, a modern restaurant and a busy food to go outlet featuring seasonal on trend exciting food, and we are now looking to strengthen our food team.
As a Chef De Partie, you will assist the senior chefs in leading the kitchen in preparation of all food items from our restaurant, hospitality and grab and go menus. You will work as part of a team in the efficient delivery of our food offer to our students, staff and external guests throughout the year.
The salary for this post is£23,742 to £25,804 per annum plus 15% premium band for flexible working
