What you will be doing
  • Support the Head Chef in the management of our fast-paced, state-of-the-art kitchen.
  • Work alongside the chef and the kitchen team to deliver food to the highest of standards.
  • Ensure excellent service is provided at all times.
  • Follow care/support plans regarding the nutritional needs of each individual.
  • Prepare nutritional snacks for residents as required and directed by the Registered Manager.
  • Ensure prepared food is of excellent quality, palatability and presentation.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef.
  • Stock control; stock replenishing/ordering.
Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • At least 2 years of catering experience.
  • Awareness of regulations.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic and textured diets.
  • Experience delivering a high-quality service as a chef.
  • Ability to work to a structured menu while being creative as an individual.
