Job summary

A popular restaurant chain in Cwmbran is looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join their dedicated and supportive team. You will prepare high-quality dishes from a flexible menu in a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities include following prep specifications, working closely with the Head Chef, and ensuring customer satisfaction through great food. Ideal candidates will have some kitchen experience and a positive, self-motivated attitude. Qualifications

  • Some kitchen experience as a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant/Commis Chef is beneficial but not essential.
  • Driven and relentless with a positive attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices regarding allergens and food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to specifications in a safe and clean kitchen.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to complete meal prep.
  • Ensure customers leave happy with great food.

You'll be part of a dedicated, supportive team, working from our flexible all-day menu to give people food that'll make their day. What you’ll bring
  • You may already have some kitchen experience as either a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant/Commis Chef, or this might be something brand new to you.
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can do attitude.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to all things Allergens, kitchen essentials and Food Safety.
