Job summary

A local charity organization is seeking an individual to manage their charity shop in Lisburn. Responsibilities include driving sales, ensuring high standards of merchandising, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have relevant retail experience and skills in managing and motivating volunteers. This is a temporary role, offering up to 25 hours per week at competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures and undertake administration.
• Experience working in charity retail is preferred.
• Experience of dealing with customers and providing customer care.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and control costs to achieve targets.
• Ensure cash handling and banking procedures are followed.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising and display.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Support recruitment and training of volunteers.

Skills

Numerate with the ability to calculate figures

Retail sales experience in fashion/clothing trade

Experience of managing and motivating staff

Knowledge of selling and merchandising

Excellent customer care experience
