Charities Finance Officer

We are looking for an experienced, highly organised, and motivated individual to join our busy Charity Finance Team at Trafford General Hospital. The role focuses on providing financial support, managing a complex charitable finance portfolio, and ensuring accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce monthly income and expenditure reports, highlighting and investigating budget variances and errors, and making necessary adjustments to the financial ledger.
  • Co‑ordinate the production of information relating to the Trust’s charitable funds and provide advice to appropriate fund holders.
  • Deal with complex financial queries from budget and fund holders and provide advice as required.
  • Complete legacy administration and liaise with executors of wills and legacy fundraisers.
  • Support the Charities Accountant in providing relevant information for the Charity’s Annual Financial Accounts and ensure VAT is dealt with in accordance with guidelines.
