JOB DESCRIPTION:

Full‑time permanent position assisting the Scaffold Supervisor with the day‑to‑day running of the Scaffold Dept.

  • Take a lead role onsite ensuring all scaffolding works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Supervise a team of scaffolders, labourers, yardmen, and forklift drivers.
  • Manage materials and equipment.
  • Act as a liaison between the scaffold team and various disciplines onsite to ensure that scaffolds are erected to meet the requirements of the discipline.
  • Liaise with the onsite scaffold Inspector to ensure all scaffolds are erected as per design drawings and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
  • Valid CISRS Advanced Card
  • Working at Height Unit 2 qualified
  • Capable of interpreting design drawings and erecting complex non‑standard scaffolds.
DESIRABLE:
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES :
  • Demonstrated Leadership Experience
  • Strong Understanding of Health & Safety and NASC Regulations
  • Good Organisational Skills
  • Highly organised and able to meet deadlines
  • IT literate – Microsoft Office
WORKING HOURS
  • 37.5 hours working week Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of Overtime.
  • Working hours are 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Wednesday and 07:00 to 16:30 on a Thursday.
  • Overtime rates are paid at OT1 (x1.5) and OT2 (x2).
