A local charity providing palliative care in Northern Ireland is seeking Childrens Staff Nurses for a combined role primarily based in the community and at Horizon House. The role involves delivering holistic care in children's homes and the Children's IPU, with responsibilities including assessment and delegation of care tasks. Location: This is a combined role based between Community and Horizon House IPU. Community refers to Northern, South Eastern and Southern Health & Social Care Trust Areas but will be primarily community based.

Role

The Staff Nurse will work predominantly in the child\'s own home within the trust but will also be required to work in the Children\'s IPU. He/she will participate in the assessment, planning and delivery of care to the children and the delegation of care to non-registered members of the care team promoting a philosophy of holistic care and active engagement of children and families. The role will include both day and night duty.

The Northern Ireland Hospice is a local charity offering specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to infants, children, and adults across Northern Ireland.
