Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Located in Norwich, NY

Salary: $26/hr. - $29/hr. *Depending on experience*

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and provides family-oriented services to the home health patient with neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; fine motor, sensory motor, and developmental delays; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders
• Providing initial and ongoing assessment to determine the level of functioning.
• Preparing clinical progress notes.
• Evaluating outcomes.
• Planning Discharge.

Qualifications

• NYS License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Must have prior experience as a COTA
• Must have experience in long-term care
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
