Overview

Cer­tification Support Officer (CSO) – Eville & Jones

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to gain a new qualification and skills within the export and food safety industry. You must have good written and spoken communications skills and a proven ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Attention to detail, ability to use their own initiative and assertiveness are vital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide export certification for products of animal origin (POAO) – primarily meat, meat products and dairy – ensuring that all consignments meet the requirements of importing countries as detailed in the Export Health Certificate.
  • Work within our distribution centres and meat processing facilities; candidates must be comfortable with this environment.
  • Support the rapid programme of expansion in our export division by assisting the CSOs as part of a growing team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three A levels (or equivalent or higher qualifications), one of which a science subject or food technology.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, initiative, assertiveness, and the ability to work to agreed timescales and meet deadlines.
  • Adap­table with strong organisational skills; driving licence is desirable but not essential.
Environment

This role will be based in our distribution centres and meat processing facilities, so candidates must be comfortable with this environment.

Contract

This role is contracted to 40 hours per week.
