A non-profit food certification body in Lisburn seeks an experienced professional to assess agriculture-based inspection reports for the Northern Ireland FQAS Scheme. The role requires an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an agricultural discipline and 2 years of practical experience. Strong communication, decision-making skills, and attention to detail are essential. This position offers a hybrid working model with 2 days in-office and 3 days remote.
Northern Ireland Food Chain Certification (NIFCC) is a certification body established by the Northern Ireland Agri-Food industry as a non-profit making service provider. The company’s remit is to provide product certification schemes which aim to provide consumers with assurances regarding the safety, wholesomeness and integrity of food and food products.NIFCC administers farm quality assurance schemes for Beef and Lamb, Poultry, Dairy, Livestock Transport, Markets and Cereals.Your role will be to assess agriculture-based inspection reports for the Northern Ireland FQAS Scheme and the Red Tractor Dairy Scheme and to take appropriate action based on the outcome of each report on a daily basis. You will also deal directly with any other scheme member enquiries
This is an office based role although at present it is hybrid, being 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
